Nigel Farage has issued his controversial opinion on Russian President Vladimir Putin after being appointed leader of Britain’s most popular right-wing Party.

Leader of Reform UK, Nigel Farage, gave his opinion on Russian President Vladimir Putin after a phone call with a radio station.
Previous Condemnation
Farage, the newly appointed leader of right-wing Party Reform UK, has previously been condemned for his comments on the Russian President.
Heaping Putin’s Praise
Now, Farage has once again backed up his previous comments, praising Putin for his leadership and ability to stay in power.
Praising Intelligent Putin
Speaking about the Russian President, Farage insisted that Putin was intelligent but made it clear he did not respect him as a person.
Putin as a “Clever Political Operator”
“How many years has he been in power? He’s gone from prime minister, to president, he’s a clever political operator,” Farage said.
Accusations Towards Putin
Despite the praise, Farage also claimed that Putin cannot be respected on a human level, accusing him of killing journalists.
“He Kills Journalists”
“He kills journalists, I don’t like him as a human being in any way at all,” Farage claimed before he continued to praise Putin.
Recognising Putin’s “Evil Intent”
“You can recognise the fact that some people are good at what they do even if they have evil intent,” Farage claimed before Adolf Hitler was brought into the conversation.
Hitler’s Public Speaking
Farage insinuated that Hitler should be praised for his public speaking abilities when the reporter asked him.
Farage’s Take on Hitler
When the reporter asked about his views on Hitler, Farage replied, “What, as a public speaker? What do you think? Clearly, hypnotic in a very dangerous way.”
Reform Candidate’s View on Hitler
This conversation came just weeks after another Reform UK candidate apologised for his controversial opinion on the man who started the Second World War.
Gribbin’s Questionable Remark
The candidate, Ian Gribbin, claimed that Britain should have accepted Hitler’s offer of neutrality instead of fighting the war.
Accepting Hitler’s Offer
Gribbin suggested that Britain should have “taken Hitler up on his offer of neutrality” despite that meaning giving up Europe to the Nazis.
Gribbin’s Comment on Britain
“Britain would be in a far better state today had we taken Hitler up on his offer of neutrality,” Gribbin said on social media back in 2022.
Accusations Against Britain
Gribbin accused Britain of exercising its “weird notions of international morality rather than looking after its own people.”
Slamming Winston Churchill
Gribbin also slammed Winston Churchill as “abysmal” but has since apologised for his comments.
Apologising for Comments
“I apologise for these old comments and withdraw them unreservedly and the upset that they have caused,” Gribbin said.
Reform UK’s Judgement in Question
Many question how one can hold these views in the first place, while also questioning how Reform UK can hire someone with such controversial views.
Reform UK as the “Opposition”
Farage’s Party has recently overtaken the Tories in second place in the polls behind Labour, causing Farage to label Reform UK as the “opposition.”
