Sports Fans Empty Pockets
Sports fans this summer are expected to empty their pockets into the country’s economy as major tournaments take place.

In a jam-packed summer of sport in 2024, pubs across the country are expected to be full, while pints are expected to be poured.
Heavy Drinkers, Heavy Spenders
According to a survey from American Express, individuals heading to the pub this summer are going to spend a huge amount of money on drinks alone.

Edwards said, “Whether it’s in stadiums, pubs and bars, or at home, the data shows we are making the most of an unrivaled summer of sport.”

“The UK is passionate when it comes to sport and our latest American Express research shows how fans are willing to spend to feel involved in the action,” Edwards continued.
